Denny Hechevarria
Currently Based in Las Vegas, NV

Denny Hechevarria is a versatile and dynamic bassist, originally from Miami, FL, with Cuban and Ecuadorian roots.  

With over 15 years of performance / recording experience & averaging 250+ performances annually, he has become a highly sought-after musician known for his ability to blend seamlessly across multiple genres from 

Rock, Pop, Funk, Blues, Country, R&B, Latin, World Music, Musical Theater and beyond.

His extensive touring experience spans five continents—

North America, South America, Europe, Asia, & Africa.

Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of performing with a wide variety of artists including acts like

The Platters & Prince Royce, Sofia Carson (Disney), Lele Pons, Guayna, Brian Justin Crum (America's Got Talent), Megan Ruger (The Voice), Mikayla Gordan (American Idol), Jimmy Carpenter (Blues Music Award winner), Mojo Juju, and many more. His live performance resume also extends to high-profile TV appearances, including The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, Latin American Music Awards, Despierta America, Telemundo, Sabado Gigante, NBC, Fox, and Jam in the Van.

In addition to performing with well-known artists, Denny has also played with opening acts sharing stages with musical groups such as Sean Paul, Chicago, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Brett Eldredge, and Gary Sinise Band. His diverse performance history also includes being an Armed Forces Entertainment Alumni performing for the US military on different bases across the globe. Denny has performed for many private corporate parties for well known companies like 

Toyota, Cat Caterpillar, Pepsi, Four Seasons, Aureus & tons more. Additionally, Denny performs with different tribute acts, bringing the sounds of icons like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings,  

Grateful Dead, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Richie Valens, Taylor Swift & many more to life.

Currently, Denny is the bass player for the house band of Mondays Dark, a popular Las Vegas variety show that raises funds for local charities every other Monday, donating $10,000 to a different cause each time. His regular performances in iconic Las Vegas venues such as the Cosmopolitan, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Venetian, Aria, New York-New York, and Fremont Street Experience have solidified his reputation as one of the city's premier live performers.

Beyond live performance, Denny has contributed his bass lines to various recordings, including work with Cosmic Miles, Lennon Roach, and many others. His ability to bring depth, groove, arranging and creativity to every project has earned him a strong presence in the recording world.

As an endorsing artist with Aguilar, Denny continues to push boundaries in both his performance and session work. Whether on stage or in the studio, he is always exploring new musical landscapes, drawing from his vast experience and diverse influences to create memorable and powerful bass lines.
